A Family Run Business
Cole Partnership is a family business that evolved from an original practice setup in the 1965 by John Joseph Cole, Civil Engineer and Town Surveyor based in St. Davids Building Warrenpoint.
In 1975, his son Aidan became his partner and Senior Chartered Architectural Technologist.
In 1980, the practice relocated to its present location at 12A Duke Street in Warrenpoint, where it has remained ever since.
The business took another proud step forward in 2013 when Aidan was joined by his son, John Cole, who came into the practice as a Chartered Architectural Technologist. In recent years, John has become a director of the practice, continuing the family tradition with the same dedication and passion that has shaped the practice for generations.

Our Team
Aidan Cole
Managing Director
Aidan completed his studies at the University of Ulster in Architectural technology and is a Chartered Member of the Royal Society of Chartered Architectural Technologist’s. Aidan has over 40 years experience in every role involved in a project from design to project management. Due to his detailed involvement in each project he has a deep appreciation for all team members involved in the completion of a building. Aidan believes in a positive working environment between clients, contractors and design team which results in happy clients and successful projects.
John Cole
Director
John began his journey with Cole Partnership in 2008 while studying Architectural Technology at the University of Ulster, graduating in 2012. The following year, he became a Chartered Member of the Royal Society of Chartered Architectural Technologists. As a certified Passive House Designer, John leads the practice in sustainable design.
He believes in the power of a strong conceptual foundation and works to establish a clear vision for every project. His approach is dedicated to delivering architectural solutions that are both inspiring and practical – carefully balancing clients’ aspirations with construction requirements and the unique character of each site.
Cormac Cole
Architectural Technician
Cormac has been working with Cole Partnership since 1985. In his role at Cole Partnership Cormac has an expansive experience in a range of architectural projects, particularly in residential, commercial, and industrial, producing detailed construction drawings packages for the safe delivery of buildings from beginning to completion.
